Review (Southwest Times)

This book is both the specifications manual for the bee hive as well as a step-by-step procedural manual for the construction of the bee hive. In combination, it provides the reader with a complete understanding of the design and building of the bee hive in a prose style that is clear and lucid.

The book is formatted in a very logical, consistent manner each chapter briefs the reader about the purposes and functional intent of the beehive part to be made. This is followed by a series of numbered steps which take the reader through the actual “sawing and hammering” process from layout to assembly and finish. An isometric drawing and other graphic depictions of the bee hive are included to illustrate the entire project.

The author has done a superb job of translating the technical jargon so often associated with this type of book, and distilling in a very procedural manner the production process for the bee hive.
